FULTON, MD — March 31, 2026 — Tharros, a provider of mission-critical cybersecurity and vulnerability research solutions for the U.S. Federal Government, has been awarded a prime task order under the U.S. Navy’s SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort-NxG) contract vehicle to support the Operational Test and Evaluation Force (OPTEVFOR) cybersecurity division (01D). Formerly known as ANALYGENCE, Tharros will deliver cybersecurity assessments and other technical services advancing the Navy’s Cyber Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) mission.
The task order includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods and will deploy a multidisciplinary team of red team operators, exploitation analysts, and network engineers supporting operational cybersecurity testing activities.
Under this award, Tharros will support OPTEVFOR’s Department of War (DoW) Certified Assessment Team (DCAT) cybersecurity assessment mission, conducting high-fidelity penetration testing and exploitation analysis across live operational environments, cyber ranges, and cloud-based systems. These efforts simulate real-world adversary tactics to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen mission systems prior to operational deployment.
“This partnership with OPTEVFOR represents an important milestone as we continue expanding our impact across the defense community,” said Lonnie Parker, Founder and CEO of Tharros. “Our focus is delivering operationally relevant cybersecurity testing that strengthens mission resilience and helps ensure Navy systems remain secure against evolving threats.”
Through this contract, Tharros continues supporting the DoW with advanced cybersecurity testing, vulnerability research, and technical expertise required to secure complex mission environments.
