Lonnie is a bold visionary with a vast range of leadership experiences and achievements. As CEO of Tharros, Lonnie provides strategic vision and direction for the organization and ensures Tharros is best positioned to achieve its strategic goals. Lonnie is a U.S. Air Force veteran and possesses more than 20 years of industry and military experience. Before founding Tharros, Lonnie served in a variety of senior leadership roles within industry, in addition to his role as a communications officer in the Air Force, where he obtained extensive weapon system acquisition program experience. Lonnie earned two master’s degrees and two bachelor’s degrees: an MBA in IT systems management and a master’s degree in program management; bachelor’s degrees in computer information systems and business administration. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Tom is a purpose-driven operational leader with a deep track record of delivering mission success. As Chief Operating Officer of Tharros, Tom leads corporate operations and the execution of all customer programs. He oversees human resources, talent acquisition, contracts, information technology, security, and quality. Tom is driven by the belief that empowered teams, trusted partnerships, and accountable leadership are critical to advancing customer missions and enabling organizational growth.

Tom brings over 20 years of Government Contracting experience across operations, customer success, and business development. Prior to joining Tharros, he served as Chief Customer Officer at Distributed Solutions, where he led go-to-market strategy for the AEON software platform. He previously served as Executive Vice President and COO at CALIBRE Systems, where he led operations across four business divisions and oversaw enterprise IT. Tom also served as an internal director on CALIBRE’s Board of Directors for six years.

Tom earned both bachelor’s and MBA from Shenandoah University and was recognized by DCA Live as a “Trending 40 – Rising Star in Federal Technology.”

As Chief Strategy Officer, Alex spearheads Tharros’ strategic direction, business development, capture planning and proposal writing and is responsible for overseeing the overall growth of the company. He brings 22 years of experience supporting Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients in various roles, including serving as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Praxis Engineering Technologies, Vice President of Business Development and Capture at Mission Essential, and in various roles for Serco, including Chief of Staff, Director of C4ISR Business Development, and Director of Intelligence Operations.

Alex’ Naval background includes service as a Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) and Intelligence Officer (IO), where he deployed twice to the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He graduated from the Academy with a B.S. in Political Science and went on to earn his M.P.A. in Policy Analysis and Statistics from The George Washington University and his Graduate Certification in Business from Oxford University. He is a Naval Academy Blue and Gold Officer, and serves as a Naval Academy Trustee for the Athletic Scholarship Programs.

Alex is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a number of honors, including 2005 Military Instructor of the Year at the United States Naval Academy.

As CFO, Mike manages the Finance and Accounting organization. These functions focus on strategic level financial analyses, reporting, and modeling, helping to drive Tharros’ success. Mike oversees all financial competencies and fosters the development of the staff, collaborating with other departments throughout the company, and building relationships with customers and vendors.

Mike brings 18 years of GovCon expertise to the Tharros team, with a special concentration on Financial Planning and Analysis. He has overseen a number of initiatives to develop and improve internal and external reporting capabilities for both small and large businesses, and draws on deep experience in proposal and business development.

Previously, Mike served as Vice President of Operations at CAVU Advisors, Senior Director of Business Development and Finance at ECG Inc., Director of Business Management at Comtech Telecommunications Corp., and Division Finance Manager at Sotera Defense Solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Longwood University.
